Trying hard at the Tracksmith Twilight 5000 at Parliament Hill Track

It's the last week of the boys' summer holidays so more work related weeknotes might start to surface from next week! This week I started thinking more seriously about what I want to do next and how to talk about myself and what I do.

I also had an awesome night at the Tracksmith Twilight 5000. Excellent vibes with a DJ and live commentary on the race, loads of good support, and craft beer and pizza. Tracksmith might just save track. As might Michael Johnson's new Grand Slam track league. Worth checking out. Especially when you think about what Nike's apparent wane might do to their generous support of athletics. Maybe, just as brands have jumped into the space Nike left on retailers shelves, there will be just as eager a push from other players in the ecosystem to own some of the space around track and field.
